We would like to invite your child to take part in a special workshop being taught by Paula Chateauneuf from the RNCM. A Soloist, accompanist, teacher and linchpin of numerous ensembles, lutenist Paula Chateauneuf has earned her reputation as one of the most respected and admired musicians in this genre. The Theorbo is a Bass lute and was used between the 16th and 18th centuries. Any students who have studied music from this period for their grades may find this of particular interest. In place of our usual guitar ensemble session, Paula will give an interactive introduction to the Theorbo, with the opportunity for the guitarists to learn some “olde" music.
